What membership is best for me? What are the different membership options?

The Melbourne Storm Membership website provides a guide to choosing the ideal package that suits you. The ‘Help Me Choose’ link provides a path for you to choose the right package by asking questions based on age, where you live, and how many games you are likely to attend. How does the seating allocation process work?

 Renewing 2015 members have until 5pm, 18 November 2015 to renew their membership and keep their existing seat for the 2016 NRL Season.

  • Reserved seat holders will be able to make changes to their own seat by calling 1300 786 767 or via their Storm Account

  • Members must be finalize their purchases and reserved seats before 18 November 2015 to ensure that their their kits are delivered before Christmas

  • If your seat preference is not available at the time of joining or renewing, you can make another request on Monday 23 November 2015 when all unsold reserved seat are open for purchase.


How long does it take to receive my membership card and pack?

Paid before 18 November 2015- Membership packs will be sent out from early December 2015 in order to arrive pre-Christmas.

Paid 19 November 2015 onward until February 2016 –  Member Kits and cards will be posted together with delivery expected in two to three weeks from dispatch.

During season- Once the season commences, membership cards and packs will be sent separately. Cards will typically arrive roughly 5-7 business days from postage with member kits expected in two-three weeks from dispatch.

How do we access the members pre-sale to finals tickets?

Members will receive priority access to weeks 1-3 of the finals series for matches in which Melbourne Storm participate. Due to the limited number of tickets available for any final, the allocation of tickets available for purchase is at the discretion of the NRL. Due to limited venue capacity, Melbourne Storm cannot guarantee members ticket access at some venues. For any finals played at AAMI Park, the ability for members to retain their annual reserved seating is determined by the NRL.

When will the 2016 draw be released?

The NRL are set to release the 2016 draw in December 2015.


What benefits are included in a 2016 membership package?

Can I purchase a membership as a gift?

Gift vouchers can be purchased over the phone and in person. When a gift voucher is purchased, a voucher is sent to the recipient to redeem for a membership. Gift vouchers are available for a specified amount or a specified membership product. Gift vouchers are valid for 12 months from the date of issue. Storm membership gift vouchers are available in the following denominations $25, $50 or $100.



What constitutes a family membership?

Family memberships are available to include: 2 Adults + 2 Juniors as well as 1 Adult
+ 2 Juniors. Additional children can be added to either configuration across all
membership categories at the corresponding cost of a junior membership for that
category. Only children under 15 years of age at January 1, 2015 can be included
as part of the family membership packages as juniors.


Does Melbourne Storm offer a companion card service?

The NRL is an affiliate of the companion card program that exists in some states.
It agrees to provide an admission ticket for the cardholder’s companion at no charge.
This includes reserves seats if a reserved seat is purchased by the person requiring
a carer (companion card must be shown before purchase).


How do I qualify for a concession membership?

To qualify for a concession membership, members must hold one of the following forms
of identification: pension card (aged, single parent or disability), student card (full time only) or Veterans Affairs concession card. Health Care Cards and Seniors Cards do not qualify.
You must notify Melbourne Storm of your concession type and relevant card number
on submitting a Membership Application. Concession identification must also be available
for presentation when requested upon entry to AAMI Park on match days.


I have lost my membership card, how do I have it replaced?

Membership cards can be replaced for a replacement fee of $25. Members with reduced game access who have used up their entitlements are not eligible for a card replacement.

How do I upgrade or change my membership package?

Members may upgrade or change their membership package. Please contact the Membership Service Centre on 1300 786 767 during
business hours.


What correspondence do I receive from the club once I sign up?

All members will receive email notification, if an email address is provided, from
our distribution centre advising you of the status of your membership kit delivery.
This will be the most up to date way to keep track of the progress of your delivery.
You will also receive weekly emails, in season, provided we have your current email
address. All members receive a copy of Storm members’ e-yearbook (one per household)
at the end of the 2016 season.


Am I a renewing or new member?

Any 2015 member that purchases a membership for the 2016 season is considered to
be a renewing member. All other 2016 members are defined as new members.


I’m a member and I want to have a friend sit with me, what do I do?

If you have a reserved seat, visit the box office on game day and show your membership card. If a seat is available directly next to your season seat they box office staff member will be able to allocate a daily reserved seat. If not, you will be required to relocate to a similar category seat for the game where additional seats can be purchased next to it. You may need to pay any relocation fees associated.
If you are a general admission member, you can just purchase an additional GA ticket for your friend, scan your membership card in and proceed to the general admission areas of the stadium.


How do I qualify for a junior membership?

To qualify for a junior membership the child must be under the age of 15 at 01/01/2015.


How do I update my membership contact details or credit card details for my payment plan?

You can log into your Storm Account, using your membership number and password to update your contact details.
To update your credit card details you will have to contact the club on 1300 786 767 or


What is Melbourne Storm’s refund and exchange policy?

Membership applications will be processed as received and cannot be withdrawn once
processed. All refund requests received in writing before March 31, 2016 will be
assessed by the Membership department. Granting of refunds in full or partially
is wholly at the discretion of Melbourne Storm Rugby League Club. All requests are
to be made in writing to ‘Membership Manager’ PO Box 155, Richmond VIC 3121. Cancellation fees may apply. Whilst every reasonable effort will be made to accommodate seating preferences, if your preference is unavailable or if you do not request a seating preference you will be allocated the best available seat at time of processing.
As such, memberships will not be refunded on the basis of specific seat allocation or dissatisfaction with the provision of individual elements of the entitlements.

Can I pay my membership monthly?

Membership package payments can be spread over a 10 month period. Monthly payments requires an upfront payment when you purchase your membership, equal to your monthly instalment value. Subsequent payments will then be deducted on the 17th of each month according to our payment plan. The plan runs from November 2015 through to August 2016. If you sign up to the Payment Plan monthly plan after November 2015 you will be required to pay the instalments that have been missed in the initial upfront payment. For more info click here.


Can I sign up to have my membership renewed automatically each year?

Yes, as part of the member terms and conditions everyone who signs up for 2016 membership using a credit card or debit card will automatically signed up for the roll over Payment Plan. You can elect to have your membership roll over but you will need to pay by credit or debit card. There is a month-by-month and annual payment options.


How do I purchase 2 memberships in separate names?
If you purchase the two memberships in the one transaction they will be processed under the same name. If you do this please call the Membership Services Centre on 1300 786 767 or email to confirm the second name and date of birth. There is also the option of inserting the name and date of birth when you are prompted by the question asking about a junior membership. Alternatively, you can create two Storm accounts and purchase the memberships as two separate transactions.


I have just purchased 2 memberships both in my name. How do I change the name for one of the memberships?

How do I subscribe/ unsubscribe for club communications?

How do I log into my Storm Account?

You can log in using your membership number or email address as your username. If
you have forgot your password click on the forgot password link next to the log

Reserved Seating

What reserved seating options are available?

AAMI Park provides spectators with a first class viewing experience when attending a Melbourne Storm home game. Options include Category 1, 2, and 3 reserved seating – including an away team bay, general admission seating, and a TRY Zone and Goal Zone area where active supporters can view the game.
Please note: Membership seating categories and game day sales categories may vary.


How do I nominate my seating preferences?

Please be sure to note any seating preferences when completing your membership application. Although every effort will be made to fulfil your request, new seat requests are processed in order of date received.

How do groups sit together?

If you wish to be seated with specific members or if you are introducing new members who you would like to sit with, all forms must be received together. If you are completing your application online you need to pay for the memberships on the same day. Please include any seating preference you have with your application. You should nominate a Group Leader for your seating request that should be used by all people wishing to sit together. This helps us to group your applications. If you are renewing members, you should list the Group Leader’s membership number as well.


What seats are undercover?

Due to the difficulty in accurately classifying any seat at the AAMI Park as “undercover”, even though there is a roof overhead in some sections of the ground, patrons cannot be guaranteed protection from the elements.


How do I print my own membership tickets?

This service is only available for selected memberships (Premiers Club, Champions Club, Storm Neighbourhood and TRY Zone members). Flexi Members will be posted all their tickets.

Please note ticket printing closes approximately 1 full business day before game day. Cut-off dates and times will be confirmed when the 2016 draw is released. Tickets cannot be printed after this time. Please see full Terms and conditions here.

Interstate / International Games

Where do members sit at away games?

Unless your membership type includes access to an away game, Members will have to purchase a ticket to any away games that Melbourne Storm play. The location of these seats are determined by the opposition club. When purchasing tickets, please check the area that you are purchasing in to ensure that you secure the seat of your choice.

For interstate members (NSW and QLD Plus – If tickets are provided for games in your state you will be given a reserved seat in the away (Melbourne Storm) supporters’ bay. If the stadium allows membership cards to scan in, Melbourne Storm will communicate this to you prior to the game.


Can members purchase tickets to away games through Melbourne Storm?

Tickets can be purchased through the home club’s ticketing agency. This information can be found on the team’s website. Interstate members have priority access to any tickets available to Melbourne Storm. Depending on ticket availability, ticket purchases may be allowed. Members will be alerted by email prior to the game should tickets become available. On some occasions, NRL clubs may offer discounted ticket prices to Storm members. This information will be released in members e-newsletter Hailstorm if/when they are available.

How do interstate members register for tickets?

The interstate games for NSW Plus and QLD Plus will be announced once the NRL draw is released in December 2015. Once the games have been confirmed, the registration process will be communicated to members by mail and email.

Can interstate members purchase additional tickets to away games?

Depending on ticket availability, guest ticket purchases may be allowed. Members will be contacted by email prior to the game should guest tickets become available.


Do you have any International memberships or options for supporters who live in another country?

We offer a NZ Plus membership which includes entry to a Storm game in New Zealand as well as two games at AAMI Park in Melbourne. If a Warriors v Storm game isn’t scheduled in the 2016 draw, access to an alternate game will be provided.

Can I Park at AAMI Park?

MOPT promotes public transport as being the quickest and easiest way to get to and from an event in the precinct. There is limited car parking available and street parking is minimal in the precinct. Transport Information for Users with Accessible Needs

For all major events at AAMI Park Metlink opens Gate C to Richmond Station, which has an accessible ramp between the platforms and the Punt Road/Olympic Boulevard intersection. The pathway is accessible and requires users to cross at the lights-controlled crossing near Entrance F. Tram services from Flinders Street (No. 70) and Richmond stop at the Main Entrances. Licensed taxis are able to drop off patrons with accessible needs at Entrance E or F. Taxis should proceed to these entrances and inform the attendants they are dropping off accessible patrons. A limited number of accessible spaces can be pre-booked for each home game. Please contact Melbourne Park Box Office on 03 9286 1208 (Mon-Fri, 9am-5pm) to make a booking. Spaces are allocated at Entrance F AAMI Park and Entrance D on Olympic Boulevard. Spaces will be released for sale the week before each home game.

Where do interstate members sit at AAMI Park?

Interstate members (NSW Plus and QLD Plus) have access to any two games at AAMI Park. They are seated in the general admission areas on either end of the stadium.


What is a Fully Ticketed Game?

A ‘fully ticketed game’ is any match where every patron attending must have a dedicated seat. For Storm home games, members with annual reserved seating can simply scan their membership card at the turnstiles and proceed to their seat. All members without an annual reserved seat will be required to reserve a seat through Ticketek at the cost of the booking fee only, prior to the match or at a venue box office, subject to capacity, to gain entry. The ANZAC day game on 25 April 2016 at AAMI Park will be fully ticketed. General Admission members are required to upgrade to a reserved seat at the cost of the booking fee.


Where are Dry and Non-Dry Areas at AAMI Park?

Dry Areas (alcohol-free) are available within the Storm Neighbourhood membership, located in Category 3 seating, bays 2 and 72. Storm Neighbourhood memberships are also available in Non-Dry Areas (alcohol permitted) within Category 3 seating.


Will I receive my membership card “on the spot”?

Your Storm membership card is personalised. Membership cards will be mailed out on a weekly basis commencing in late November 2015. Membership cards will be mailed twice weekly closer to the start of the season.


Will I be able to buy my membership at the game?

You may submit your application form at our membership marquee in the first portion of the season but you will not receive your personalised card at that time. In 2016, all membership items will be mailed to your home address. Cards will be available for collection if purchased in the week leading up to a home game.


I left my membership card at home – can I still access the game?

Melbourne Storm can provide you with a replacement ticket on the day for a cost of $5. If you have lost your membership card you will be required to pay the $25 replacement fee.

Is there a program and where can I get it?

The Big League magazine provides details on the game as well as the NRL round information. Big League’s can be purchased for $5 from outside the gates on either side of the Level 1 concourse (prior to main game kick-off).


Can I take my Storm banner/flag into the Stadium?

Flag poles exceeding 1.6 metres in length are considered prohibited items and are not permitted. Such flag poles must either be surrendered and cloaked or taken back to the patron’s vehicle. For more items not permitted into the stadium

Lightning Rewards


Does the Lightning Rewards program cost anything?
No. It does not cost the member anything to participate in Lightning Rewards.

How secure is the Lightning Rewards card?
The card uses the latest encryption technology and offers a very high level of security – as you would expect from a bank carrying financial details.

Can I be apart of the Lightning Rewards program if I am under 18 years of age?
Yes, but you must be have a parent/guardian over 18 to register your Membership and Lightning Rewards Card with the program.

Who are Vix Technology?
Vix are Storm’s technology partner that provide the smartcard technology. For 25 years, Vix Technology are a global leader in smartcard technology. Why are Melbourne Storm implementing this program?

What government regulations is the program operating under?
The scheme is operating under the relevant regulations of Australian Prudential Regulation Authority (APRA) and ASIC.

What happens if I have unauthorised transactions or errors on my account?
Please contact Melbourne Storm Membership on 1300 STORMRLC (1300 786 767), Transactions queried after 90 days will not be reviewed.

What happens if my Membership & Lightning Rewards Card is lost or stolen?

Please register the loss of your card immediately by logging into your personal Lightning Rewards account here. The lost card will be deactivated. Please contact Melbourne Storm Membership on 1300 STORMRLC (1300 786 767), A replacement card will be issued and the account credit allocated to the replacement card.  You will be responsible for the value of transactions made on your account up until the time you advise of the loss of your card.  Replacement cards are charged at $25 per card.


Can I buy points?
No, you can not buy points to add to your account. Only the activities outlined HERE will be rewarded with points.

Are these the only ways to earn points throughout the season?
You will always be able to earn points by attending matches, arriving early, and spending at concessions and retail, but there will also be other point earning opportunities throughout the season.

Can I earn points for buying retail online?
No, you cannot earn points for buying retail online. The only way to earn points when buying retail is on game day in the Team Store and booths at aisles 3 and 23.

Can I view my transaction history?
Yes. You can view your transaction history by logging into your personal Lightning Rewards account.

What if I was not credited with my points for attending a match or buying something in the stadium?
Please contact Lightning Rewards via email, with full details and we will look into your enquiry. We will endeavour to reply to your enquiry within 24 – 48 hours.

Will points carry over from season to season?
No. Points will expire at the end of the 2016 home and away season.

Can I transfer points to a different account?
No. You can not transfer points to a different account.

Why do I need credit on my Membership and Lightning Rrewards card?
To achieve the maximum rewards from the program you need credit on your Membership and Lightning Rewards card so you can purchase merchandise, food and beverages. This will allow us to reward you with points for your everyday transactions at AAMI Park.

Terminating Lightning Rewards Account

Is it possible to cancel my Lightning Rewards account?
Yes. You are able to cancel your Lightning Rewards account. We will immediately place a stop on the Lightning Rewards facility on your Membership and Lightning Rewards card, refund the remaining credit balance on your account within 15 working days of termination and disable your access to the secure member’s website 90 days after termination.

What happens with my stored credit once I cancel my Lightning Rewards account?
Vix will refund any credit balance remaining on the Member’s account within 15 working days of receipt of notice to close the account from the Member. Refunds will be made by direct credit to the bank account detailed in the notice to close the account.

Note: 15 days is required to ensure all transactions on the account have been settled and disputes resolved before the final balance is confirmed and refunded. The $10 bonus credit given when linking your membership card for auto top up will not be part of the refund.

Does cancelling my Lightning Rewards account affect any of my Melbourne Storm membership benefits?
No. Make sure you retain your Membership card to get access to AAMI Park and other Melbourne Storm events.
